I swear my drawing tablet hates me. It works just well enough that I can't justify replacing it, but bugs out often enough that the hatred is mutual.

perhaps the time to replace it is coming sooner than expected

I keep thinking about it. Just finding something that doesn't break the bank...

Perhaps you should put it out of your misery sooner, yes?

It can read my thoughts. Every time I start thinking about replacing it, it starts behaving again. The main problem is the DRIVERS. Physically, it's pretty great, comparable to my old Wacom. But it's like the drivers are designed to need reinstalling every time I think this thing is finally starting to behave itself.

My tablet: Oh, you wanted to work on a painting. Oh dear, you need to reinstall my drivers. Again.
Me: Why, you're working fi--
Tablet: X_X

Cue me wasting a good twenty minutes getting the thing up and running again. Rage

I actually started looking at tablets while waiting for the drivers to reinstall. It then decided it felt like working again. I only bought the damn thing last year, and it's been misbehaving from the start. For the first couple days I had it, it just wouldn't register it was plugged in, then it wouldn't play nice with Photoshop, necessitating me reinstalling that.

So, uh, lesson learned. When buying graphics tablets, go for the brand you've actually heard of. Even if it is fifty quid more expensive...
