SO PROUD by Holmes-JA SO PROUD by Holmes-JA
I am very proud of myself for getting this to work. Rendered with Apophysis 7x15.

Since someone asked, here's the params, I'd be curious to see any tweaks:

The result is beautiful. Clap As for the computer programing that made it possible, might as well be Klingon...:o (Eek)

Thanks! Yeah I really don't understand it either (though the params don't look like that in the program thankfully, there's an interface)

You will probably be able to tell from the weird numbers that this basically came about from screwing around.

Thanks a lot for sharing! :)
Also, this is a really wonderful work I have to admit, something to be proud of, truly!
I really have lots to learn about final xforms, I see. Do you know any tutorials about them?

Thank you!

I've had a look, and I don't think I have anything saved that talks about final xforms. What I usually do, however, is once I have a fractal that seems promising and is mostly done, I turn on final xform and try every single variable (this doesn't take as long as one might think). I save on ones that seem interesting, then when I've gone through them all, I come back to the most promising ones and fiddle with the variables. For most of the variations, moving the xform about doesn't do much but move the whole fractal, but for some it can skew it in interesting ways.

This was really helpful! :D
Tried working around the final xform as you said, and I think I got the hang of it now! Isn't it basically forcing all of the non-final xforms into the final one and then displaying its variations?
Anyways, thanks a lot for the help, I think I found a new tool for... pretty much everything! ^^

Yeah, it's a plugin that makes this sort of doughnut shaped structure, and you can fill it with another pattern. Can be a bit fiddly to work with.
